The ESim Service

The ESim Service is a set of tools written in Visual C# for the .NET framework. It consists of the ESimService processes, the ESim application, the Reporting Services, and the Microsoft SQL Server TRADING database along with all associated tables, stored procedures, and functions. The service is hosted by ISO Trader and can be accessed over the Internet from any windows based computer. The ESim application functions as a trading tool, allowing traders to devise trading strategies, test them, generate order files, check status of orders, and calculate various statistics based on zone, date/time, month, and season. The application runs locally on a subcsribers computer, remotley accessing the ISO Trader database using Microsoft's WCF framework over the public Internet. The ISO Trader Reporting Services is a set of charts and reports developed with the Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Several reports are already available, including graphs based on price and spread for each of the markets. The reports are accessed with a web browser and can be exported into most popular formats for further manipulation. One of the most important features of our subcscription service is that each customer is allocated a number of hours that can be applied to the fulfillment of custom report requests.
